BLACKONBLACK is rooted in the concept of human connection - on and offline. Our journey, before rebranding as a creative agency was founded on connection and the coming together of a wide range of creatives with different backgrounds, experiences and insights. We have grown through community and are passionate about encouraging brands to do the same.
The digital space excites us but we champion human connection. Consumers are people and they are experiencing digital fatigue and information overload. More and more, people are retreating from our intimidating world in search of authenticity, community and experiences. We believe that brands and organisations need to do more to actually connect with their audiences and truly hear and see them instead of merely “tapping” into their culture. So although we offer a number of services including digital creative, these are supplementary to the heart of our business, producing and curating experiences that capture imaginations and hearts.

WHERE HAVE WE BEEN?
Like any agile company, blackonblack has grown through different stages. We started out as an online platform for creatives of colour, paying each creative for their submissions and showcasing their beautiful work in group exhibitions.
We then took a focus on women of colour in the creative industry, working with a small group of womxn on their personal projects - helping them make money from their crafts.

Our goal is to create a world where there is authentic connection between creatives, companies and consumers and, to be disruptive whilst doing so.
